XAL's Pro Bono Program
In our pro bono programme we seek to find solutions to interesting data science challenges together with problem owners using both classical methods and modern machine learning and data science techniques.
All our pro bono projects starts with a Stage 1: Exploration Sprint (75 hours).
If Stage 1 creates meaningful impact and there’s a strong fit, we may continue working with the project in a Stage 2: Impact Sprint.
What you get
-
A focused 75-hour collaboration to clarify the problem, explore opportunities, and deliver actionable insights or proof-of-concept work
-
Support from consultants experienced in analytics, data, and applied AI / modelling
-
A partnership mindset: we work with your team, not just “on” your problem

What a “successful outcome” would look like
-
How the work could create social impact
-
Access to relevant data, systems, and/or materials at the start
-
Approval to write a case story about the project
-
Confirmation that your work complies with our ethical guidelines
